About the Opportunity:
Hydrex Pest Control Co. of San Diego is looking for a motivated General Pest Control Technician – Branch 2 to join our growing team.
In this role, you will provide residential and commercial pest control services throughout the San Diego area, helping customers solve and prevent issues with ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, and other common household pests.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing great service, enjoys working independently, and wants the opportunity to grow their route and increase their earning potential.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect residential and commercial properties for pest activity.
- Identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatment and prevention solutions.
- Apply pesticides and rodenticides safely and in accordance with state regulations.
- Utilize Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques, including sanitation and exclusion, to help prevent recurring infestations.
- Provide customers with clear explanations of findings, treatments, and service recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with customers while providing professional, dependable service.
- Grow and maintain your route while identifying opportunities for additional services and new customers.
- Accurately document inspections, treatments, findings, and customer information in PestPac.
- Safely operate and maintain pest control equipment.

What We're Looking For:
- Current California SPCB Applicator or Field Representative License – Branch 2.
- Knowledge of pest control application equipment, pesticide labels, and safety practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a daily service route.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces when necessary.
- Comfortable driving throughout the San Diego area between customer properties.
- Reliable, professional, and interested in long-term growth.
- Sales-minded and comfortable identifying additional service opportunities for customers.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
